This Vintage s Al Cap is a genuine work of art. I purchased these wonderful solid wood-carved antique figurines from a Historic House Estate Sale whose owners were antique dealers for years. They are all similar in design and a few are signed and dated and Providence RI. I will be listing all of them for sale so I included a group picture. This small carved statue is a beautiful -of-a-kind rendering of Alphonse Gabriel Cap sometimes known by the nickname Scarface. He is dressed meticulously in a pin-striped gray suit and hat. He attained notoriety during the Prohibition era as the co-founder and boss of the Chicago Outfit. Cap was born in New York City in to Italian immigrant parents. This carved wood statue measures tall X wide.
