Social Work Supervisor

As the supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for monitoring compliance with Social Work Practice standards and guidelines on documentation, workload, data entry, ethical practice, and service delivery. The incumbent is responsible for the oversight of all Social Work Services provided in the clinic and non-Social Work programs that fall under incumbent's supervision. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs the administrative and personnel management function relative to staff supervised. Has established guidelines and performance expectations for staff, clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system. Observes workers' performances and demonstrates and conducts work performance critiques. Provides informal feedback and periodically evaluates employee performance. Works to resolves informal complaints and grievances. Develops work improvement plans, recommending personnel actions, as necessary. Provides advice and counsel to workers related to work and administrative matters. He/she invokes disciplinary measures, as appropriate to the authority delegated in this area. Reviews and approves or disapproves leave requests and assures that subordinates are trained and in full compliance with the provisions of the safety regulations. Work with facility administration in recommending the appropriate number of staff; participates in recruiting qualified Social Workers; arranges and completes interviews for staff positions; and participates in the selection of Social Work and non-Social Work staff. Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:
30 pm The selectee may be required to work or travel between any of the locations within Corporate Orlando, including the new Lake Nona campus. The selectee may also be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis, based on patient care needs. Functional Statement Title:

Must have a Master's Degree in social work (MSW) from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Graduates of schools of social work that are in candidacy status do not meet this requirement until the School of Social Work is fully accredited. A doctoral degree in social work may not be substituted for the master's degree in social work. Verification of the degree can be made by going to http:

Must be licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. Current state requirements may be found by going to http:

If you are licensed in another state, you must meet the requirements of the state you are licensed in to provide supervision.) English Language:
Must be proficient in spoken and written English to be appointed as authorized by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
Experience:
One year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. Experience must demonstrate possession of advanced practice skills in a specialty area or in administration demonstrating progressively more professional competency and judgment. Candidate may have certification or other post-master's degree training from a nationally recognized professional organization or university that includes a defined curriculum/course of study and internship, or equivalent supervised professional experience. The position requires performance of work which involves light physical effort, such as that involved in lifting light files, bending, standing, reaching, operating office equipment such as telephone, copier, fax machine, scanner, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
