FINAL QUALITY ASSURANCE

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Preparation of customer required documentation for all outgoing product
o Submission of test data or other quality documentation to customers for approval
o Review and approval of shop routers and test data for completeness, accuracy, and satisfaction of required test criteria.
o Quality Verification of final product to engineering drawings and specifications
o Ensure adherence to highest standards of product workmanship and presentation to customers.
o Support visits by Customer representatives (Source Inspectors, Witness, etc)
o Collect metrics data from results of quality verifications
o Issue non-conformance reports as needed, follow through verify closure
o Regular review of production plan for awareness of coming product to FQA
o Provide feedback to production team on issues affecting production plan
o Review customer orders for compliance
o Support continuous improvement through projects assigned or self initiated
Education and
Experience:
Minimum of one of the following:
o Two year technical degree
o One year technical Certificate
o Certified Quality Technician or Certified Mechanical Inspector
o 5 Years minimum experience in Quality Assurance with increasing levels of responsibility within a manufacturing environment
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
o Highest professional and ethical standards in daily interactions
o Experience and basic understanding of one or more high level manufacturing systems, such as MRP or ERP
o Experience in reading and communicating technical drawings
o Working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook
o Knowledge of quality systems and techniques including auditing, process control, and inspection methods
Drug screen and Background check required.
