JOB SUMMARY The LPGA Foundation Programs & Events Coordinator is responsible for facilitating national initiatives, administering events, and tournament activations in support of the LPGA Foundation.
The LPGA Foundation Programs & Events Coordinator will work with all necessary constituencies, both internal and external, with a focus of optimizing teenage programming for the LPGA Foundation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the execution of the LPGA Leadership Academies - coordinate event logistics, administer and participate in the candidate selection process, serve as liaison to participants, lead educators and guest panelists, and collaborate with LPGA Corporate Partnerships team to optimize participant and sponsor experiences.
Administer the application process, communications, and implementation of LPGA USGA Girls Golf Camps and LPGA USGA Girls Golf Experiences Coordinate LPGA USGA Girls Golf clinics events at various LPGA Tour tournaments.
Work closely with on-site LPGA Tournament staff for site locations and resources.
Work closely with the Foundation Partnerships Manager to plan and coordinate LPGA Foundation partner activations.
Work closely with the Foundation Partnerships Manager to plan and fulfill Outreach Partner events.
Research and contact potential Outreach groups to partner with LPGA Foundation.
Coordinate events targeted to teens including eLeaders and Outreach opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with event vendors and venues.
Responsible for gathering event and program content throughout the year to produce year-end recaps to be shared with donors.
Complete special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Some college coursework required, bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, event management, communications, or other relatable field preferred.
Event management experience preferred.
Golf knowledge and experience, specifically with junior golf, is preferred.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously within established deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage a budget.
Ability to show strong judgement to manage unforeseen challenges within tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written skills that show sensitivity.
Team player that embraces and celebrates the synergy of a diverse team.
Strong Microsoft Office skills to include various remote communication and file retention platforms.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
