The park boasts the most attractions and activities in Daytona Beach.
The Lagoon Water Park features over 10 Water Slides and other attractions, cabanas, an outdoor bar, Go-Karts, Miniature Golf, Laser Tag, and MEGA Arcade with over 85 games! Daytona Lagoon offers its guests an unparalleled family entertainment value.

Summary:
This position requires you to operate all rides you have been adequately trained on, oversee play areas, and encourage guest interaction and positive experiences while maintaining Pier Park's highest standard of Safety, Guest Service, and Cleanliness.
With the go-karts being one of our facility's most popular and business-driven activities, they present some of the most physically demanding requirements.
Essential Functions:
Greet customers as they enter your area Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers.
Taking tickets and assisting customers in and out of the attractions They are instructing customers on the safe usage of the karts, including a required announcement to be used before any race starts.
They supervised guests while at the attractions, maintaining a safe and enjoyable ride.
Be physically fit to run, dodge, push and move as uncertainties may occur.
Getting the attractions ready in the morning, including washing and essential servicing Gassing any support equipment and adequately securing them away in the evening and during park operations.
Maintained a clean area, including blowing off, pressure washing, weed pulling, and trash removal.
Also, I may be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the parking lot and other outside areas.
Inspect the attractions daily and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the Manager on Duty or maintenance.
Has good general park knowledge and assists with any guest problems.
Operates rides at the maximum capacity while doing it in the safest way possible.
Oversees and pays special attention to all children, both from a service and safety point of view.
Assists and informs guests on a voluntary or involuntary basis of general-park knowledge throughout the day.
Works under pressure and communicates verbally to groups of guests.
Follows departmental safety and ride procedures at all times.
Helps guests while entering and exiting on/off rides/attractions while assuring guest safety at all times.
Records attraction hourly counts and hourly wait times.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
Theme parks and customer service experience are preferred.
Excellent communication skills are required, including speaking to large groups of Guests and presenting ride safety instructions.
Ability to achieve certification in the general area, park safety, and basic emergency procedures.
Must apply basic math skills while recording hourly wait times and capacities.
A thorough understanding of attractions and safety issues is a plus.
Mechanically inclined, with an understanding of small engines Able to work outdoors Able to lift heavy objects Fluent in English, with good speaking, presentation, and leadership skills Being bilingual is a big plus.
Must have a flexible work schedule Must be able to stand for long periods in the extreme weather elements that can be presented, such as heat, cold, rain, and wind.
Ability to communicate with associates and customers effectively.
A commitment to service, excellence, and customer satisfaction Must be able to work and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
The willingness to learn, be cheerful, with a positive attitude.
