Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical facility - Collect and update patient information, including personal details and medical history - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department - Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing - Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Proficient in using phone systems and computer software applications - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and staff members Job Type:
