Job Description:
As a Birthday Party Host at Daytona Lagoon, you'll be the heart and soul of our birthday celebrations, dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
You'll bring parties to life with your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and exceptional service, ensuring every birthday child and their guests leave with a smile and cherished memories.
Essential Functions / Key
Responsibilities:
Pre-Party Preparation:
Coordinate with the Group Sales Manager and management team to understand the day's schedule and party details.
Guest Welcome and Coordination:
Greet parents and party guests upon arrival, assisting with all details and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience.
Engagement and Entertainment:
Interact engagingly with children, focusing special attention on the birthday honoree, and leading fun activities and games.
Safety and Service:
Explain and enforce safety rules, maintain 100% focus on guest service, and ensure cleanliness throughout the party area.
Food and Beverage Service:
Coordinate with the kitchen for timely delivery, serve food and drinks, and ensure all dietary needs and preferences are met.
Party Management:
Oversee the setup, ongoing management, and breakdown of parties, ensuring each aspect runs smoothly and on schedule.
Positive Environment:
Create and maintain a positive, safe environment for all guests, making each party a joyous occasion.
Qualifications:
A natural ability to relate well to customers of all ages, especially children.
An outgoing, friendly personality with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
A genuine love for fun and an innate ability to make others smile and feel celebrated.
Availability to work on weekends and reliable transportation to and from work.
