We're looking for a dynamic and driven manager to develop, implement and strengthen relationships in the Halifax territory to advance our business in the area.
You'll also facilitate solutions throughout all levels of the UF Health enterprise.
This role will allow you to:
Gather and report business intelligence and proactively address service issues, competitor strategies and market dynamics.
Contribute marketing strategies and plans that address the UF Health Shands organization's mission and vision.
Identify opportunities to showcase our faculty and service line advancements and to create, manage and promote educational events and opportunities.
Find, document and communicate any issues that create barriers to facility or physician access, including service issues.
Collaborate with other departments for the resources necessary to create results, e.
g.
, marketing materials, managed care, IT, CME office, department administration, etc.
Utilize relationship management database to document activity accurately, promptly and transparently.
Manage departmental functions related to budgeting, strategic planning and business development systems and processes.
Represent the UF Health Shands organization at professional conferences and meetings.
We're looking for dynamic and well-rounded business development managers with the following:
A bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or equivalent, plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in business development.
If you have experience, but no degree, you may substitute at least ten years of experience with demonstrated skills in business development.
Experience working in sales, business development and physician liaison services in the health care market or industry is strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Decision-making and proven relationship skills.
Experience in developing business plans in complex organizations.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior management, physicians and other stakeholders to build consensus, resolve conflicts and sustain progress.
