1K a year 17 hours ago 17 hours ago 17 hours ago Purpose The purpose of this classification, under general supervision, is to serve as an advisor, coach, assistant, instructor, and/or official for recreational activities.
Employees in this class are generally given the primary responsibility of supervising programmed activities for a designated activity and/or age group.
This position requires the constant and continuous supervision of youth assigned to a specific area or worker.
Performs other related work as required, which includes maintaining a safe, clean and orderly environment.
Drug Screening NOTE:
This position requires a drug screen.
If applicant did not receive drug screening upon initial hire with the City, applicant will be required to submit to drug screening prior to accepting this position.
Minimum Qualifications Education, Training and Experience - High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one (1) year previous experience that demonstrates ability to work effectively with a targeted age group and/or recreational activity.
Experience from Recreational/Cultural programs, Daycare and other Summer Programs dealing with youth preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS This position is required to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
May require additional training and/or certification contingent upon the targeted age group and/or recreational activity as assigned (i.
e.
, water safety training, first aid certification).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
