Summary:
The Community Health Promotion Coordinator will report to the Manager of Health Promotion and Wellness and is responsible for facilitating and coordinating a robust community engagement program in Florida Health Care Plans' service areas.
The coordinator will focus on identifying and building relationships with health and wellness community partners, as well as private and public sector partners to advance the corporate social responsibility goals of FHCP.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred degree in Health Promotion/Public Health, Marketing, or Communications, with 2 years of industry experience OR 5 years of equivalent industry experience with a bachelor's degree in other area of study.
State of Florida 240 Health Insurance license preferred.
Obtaining license will be required within the first year of employment.
Experience working cooperatively and respectfully with diverse populations is required.
Experience speaking and presenting before large groups in a clear, concise, and enthusiastic manner is required.
Event planning experience is required.
Proficient business writing and grammar skills are required.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
Marketing and customer service experience required.
MS Office basic skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook are required and must be demonstrated.
Ability to manage a flexible working schedule, including mornings, nights, and weekends is required.
Must be resident of Volusia or Flagler County.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel extensively in service areas.
Opportunity to use FHCP vehicles is available, upon approval.

Health Promotion and Wellness Schedule:
Full-time, 1st shift, Mon-Fri 8am -5pm, Must be available to work weekends, nights, and mornings as needed Bachelor's degree required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
