Job Description:
As an Underground Lineman General Foreman, you will be expected to oversee the daily production of 5-10 URD line/splicing crews.
This includes ensure the safe work methods of the crew foreman and their crews, laying out of FPL work requests to ensure efficient job production, collecting completed crew timesheets, verifying crew foreman are documenting their work view as-builts and pictures, communicating with FPL production leads and service planners, participating in weekly workload meetings, providing updates in FPL's Salesforce system, scheduling work and crew routing in FPL's Salesforce system, have a solid computer skill set, and mush have a mastery knowledge of the URD system.
This position reports directly to corporate management.
Job Duties:
Upholding a zero tolerance safety program.
Managing crews and crew workloads Working directly with FPL personnel and their systems.
Laying out complex projects.
Producing profitable work requests.
Collecting and reporting ample billing data.
Willingness to handling storm callouts A mastery knowledge of the electrical system from substation to the meter.
Experience with all the various cables types, devices, and terminations the distribution system has to offer.
Efficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word).
Experience in FPL's Salesforce, CSV, iSwitch, WMS Understanding of basic surveying (easements, right-of-ways, staking) Ability to enter and maintain locate tickets through Exactix.
Filling out timesheets with great detail of daily work completion.
FPL billing units.
Train the trainer switching certified Job Requirements Passing the distribution switching test.
CDL Class A.
Lifting requirement of 50lbs or greater.
Overtime in many circumstances.
Able to work extended periods of time and travel during large storm events.
