We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for an Enterprise IT Operations Director to join our growing team.
The Enterprise IT Operations Director will build and expand Service Management, Disaster Recovery, and End User Support capabilities to serve Brown & Brown teammates across the globe.
This role requires collaborating equally with key business and IT leaders across the enterprise to ensure a positive end-to-end user experience.
While the immediate focus of the role will be operationally focused, the Director will have an innovative mindset and be a change agent who recognizes opportunities to continuously improve.
As the first point of contact, you will oftentimes be the face of IT for the user community.
The unrelenting ability to serve with a smile under stressful environments is critical.
The Director will focus on building these capabilities first in support our UK business, with a view towards expanding those services in the US.
As such, a focus on standards, scale, and operational excellence are key to this role.

General
Responsibilities:
Create and drive strategic roadmaps for the Brown & Brown's IT Operations capabilities.
These include:
Alert Management:
the ability to detect an issue before the customer Availability Management:
SLA tracking and reporting Incident Management:
incident response and resolution, in particular high impact incidents Problem Management:
proactively address chronic incidents Request Management:
frictionless engagement for assistance Partner with ServiceNow team to create and optimize workflows Lead diverse, cross functional, global teams towards established desired outcomes.

Build trusted and authentic relationships as a strong communicator and highly visible leader working across all levels and functions.
Ensure solutions developed across organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits).
Provide leadership and oversight on all aspects of device management, including the full lifecycle of desktops/laptops and associated tools.
This includes procurement, provisioning, assignment, recovery, and disposal.
Software:
Endpoint Protection technologies, Mobile Devices, Mobile Device Management solutions (Intune), and familiarity with O365.
Hardware:
Diverse endpoints across B&B's environment, including Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and within each of those, different manufacturers and configurations.
Deliver operational stability and security protections, in close collaboration with other teams (Network Services, ITSM, Information Security, and contracted vendors.
) Define appropriate service standards, governance, utilization, and support practices.
Assess the relative impact of emerging technology to strategic business needs and interpret the impact to the organization's senior leadership team; analyze the technology industry and market trends to determine potential impact on the enterprise.
Serve as liaison to Internal and External Auditors for SOX and PCI related requirements, process controls, and management plans across applicable ITSM functions.
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships.
Ensure SLAs and continuous improvement expectations are achieved.
Drive for operational excellence to achieve required service, availability, and user experience expectations.
Manage to budget (both Capex and Opex), scope and timescales while executing against the transformation strategy by driving cost efficiencies through strategic partnerships.
Show ongoing financial and productivity benefits to justify continued investment.
Manage processes including organization design, staff salary planning, personnel actions, and performance management process for a global team.
Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information regarding business unit requests, projects, and initiatives to the appropriate levels of staff; align and calibrate the organization's technology deployment strategy with business strategy.
Lead a team to build IT Disaster Recovery capabilities that allow B&B to exercise recoverability of key technologies and applications.
Partner with stakeholders to align DR capabilities to Business Continuity expectations.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Prefer background in a technology or business technology field) 10
years of experience in IT, with 5
years in key leadership role Depth and breadth of End User Computing technologies and the total end-to-end experience of employees.
Strong command of Vendor / Partner Management throughout the lifecycle, from pre-sales to ongoing operations.
Responsible for reviewing the IT EUC portfolio and managing project level reviews to ensure architecture scalability, security, and resiliency.
Well versed in enterprise architecture standards and frameworks Prior experience with large scale enterprise architecture, road mapping, and design Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with ITSM disciplines.
Insurance industry experience.
