Responsibilities:
The position serves as the Administrative Assistant II and works under the general supervision of the Finance & Accounting Director I - SES, Position #64006370, Finance & Accounting and provides professional support and technical assistance to the staff, community agencies, and the general public.
This is an independent, highly complex and professional position that requires judgment, critical thinking with the ability to make decisions, professional demeanor, and flexibility with the ability to prioritize daily work duties as needed.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:
FINANCE & ACCOUTING Provides administrative support to department to include but is not limited to:
incoming and outgoing correspondence, staff meeting coordination, and conducting daily administrative activities and/or directing special projects or activities for department.
Assists with completion of all necessary documentation for personnel management, recruitment, and retention.
Serves as backup for purchasing.
Assists in the credentialing process for all providers for multiple county health departments as defined by appropriate inter-agency agreements.
Collects and analyzes data for statistical reports; assists in conducting surveys.
Maintain Excel Logs for time Records, error logs, mail, and statements.
Backup for Deposit Log.
Reviews and prepares agenda materials Files, maintains, stores, retrieves, or reproduces documents, records, and reports Uses My Florida Marketplace (MFMP) as needed to order supplies, office furniture, etc.
Other duties as requested.
