00am Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Outpost Brands is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! At Outpost Brands we produce high quality gummy products as well as bulk base ingredients for the cannabis industry.
We currently have openings for two maintenance mechanics who will be responsible for machine installation and ensuring they are operating properly.
Your primary responsibilities will be to perform preventive maintenance on various devices and fix technical issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics are crucial to this role.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual) Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality Repair broken or faulty machine parts Perform emergency repairs Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs Align and calibrate machine parts Monitor and report on project progress Assist on various facilities maintenance tasks as assigned by facilities manager Follow safety rules and regulations Maintain a safe and clean work environment Skills and
Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
Required to apply intermediate working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization.
Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action.
Performs Intermediate shop floor competencies.
Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.
May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.
Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical ability to stand/walk for much of work shift, and push/pull/lift up to 100 pounds.
Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head and reach forward.
Daily uses hand strength to grasp tools, supplies and equipment.
Regularly works indoors and outdoors.
Occasionally work with toxic or caustic chemicals such as petroleum products, degreasers, and sprays.
Frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock, mechanical hazards, explosive hazards, burn hazards, chemical hazards.
Moderate noise level.
Able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
Minimum
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
Must be available for weekends/occasional overtime, extended shift hours.
