Position may respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other type incidents requiring travel, as needed.
JOB DUTIES:
The candidate will be responsible for exotic species identification, mapping, treatment and monitoring.
This position will require the candidate to safe handling and use herbicides to eliminate and control exotic plant species.
The candidate will be required to operate 4x4 vehicles, UTVs and small utility trailers to perform the tasks of treating exotic plant species.
The candidate will also be required to use GPS units, data logs, and paper maps to help locate exotic plant species and to navigate through the forest.
The candidate will also assist with maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment assigned to the non-native plant treatment program.
Along with these duties, the candidate may be asked to assist in other forestry operations, such as timber marking, forest maintenance, plant and wildlife survives, etc.
This job is primarily a field position that will require the candidate to work during inclement weather including heat, cold and rain.
Applicant must be able to work in a forested environment with little or no assistance from others and understand the risks associated with working in natural areas, including flora, fauna and terrain.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
